Biography
- Mohammed Ahmed Kashif
- Born in 1960
- King Abdul Aziz University graduate (Jeddah-KSA).
- A Baccalaureate Degree in Economic Geology.
- A forty years experience in the field of geology.
Worked as A geologist and senior geologist in the Deputy Ministry of Mineral Resources (DMMR).

Head of the Economic Department in the DMMR.

Head of the Publication Department in the DMMR.

Liaison officer between DMMR-USGS
- He was involved in many technical projects in the DMMR such as:

The Exploration for iron ore in the Aflaj area KSA.

The Exploration for gold ore in the Dhemar area KSA.

The Exploration for Base metals and gold in the Samran-Shayban area KSA.

The Exploration of the Samran-Shayban area using Remote Sensing Data (joint research with ERSDAC).

The Exploration of the khnaiguiyah area using Remote Sensing Data (joint research with ERSDAC).

Participated in the preparation of the sixth and seventh five year plan to develop mining investments sector in the DMMR.
Preparing and overseeing the several marketing exhibitions of mining opportunities in KSA in Korea, Egypt and United Arab emirates.
Preparation and coordination for several seminars to encourage investments in mining sector in various parts of the kingdom.
Represented the DMMR in many international events in the United Nation.
Representing the DMMR in international forums such as the Saudi-German committees meetings, the African Comesa meeting and others.
Independent consultant for fifteen years.
